UP Health System -- Marquette along with the Advanced Center for Orthopedics and Plastic Surgery (ACOPS) are now accepting qualified Fellowship Trained Hand Surgeon candidates to join their rapidly expanding practice. Candidates may include MD or DO practicing physicians, recent graduates and near future graduates.

Opportunity Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery -or- Plastic Surgery 
  • Completed Hand Reconstruction Fellowship

Opportunity Details:

  • Medical group employed position
  • Expectations: 20-30 patients per day, depending on practice style
  • Current Practice Structure: The UP's largest independent multi-specialty practice consisting of 11 Physicians including Orthopedic Surgeons, Sports Medicine, Non-Surgical Orthopedic Specialists, Podiatry, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, Trauma Specialists; APPs, Physical Therapists and full support staff
  • Schedule: Livable on-call requirements 1:3 with rotated weekdays and weekends
  • Location: Practice is currently less than one mile from the hospital and will be moving to the new Medical Office Building adjoined to the brand new UPHS Hospital in April 2019
  • Equipment and Services: C-Arm and RF Generator for in-office procedures. Affiliation with the Great Lakes Sports Medicine and Life Performance Institute with designated Hand and Upper Extremity Hand Therapy
