UP Health System -- Marquette is assisting the UP Heart and Vascular Center who is now accepting qualified Vascular Surgeon candidates to join their rapidly expanding practice. Candidates may include MD or DO practicing physicians, recent graduates and visa eligible candidates.

Opportunity Requirements:

  • Board Certified in Vascular Surgery 

Opportunity Details:

  • Hospital employed position
  • Expectations: All types of vascular surgical cases including open surgical and if well trained, endovascular repair (EVAR, TVAR, etc.)
  • Current Practice Structure: 2 CVT surgeons and 3 APPs, 6 interventional cardiologists, 1 invasive noninterventional, 3 EPs and 1 semi-retired general cardiologist
  • Schedule: 1:3 call, as well as backup call coverage for the Trauma Service. Office hours flexible and surgical block time available
  • Location: Practice is one mile from hospital with 3 provider assigned rooms. Spring of 2019 practice will move to new medical office building connected to new hospital
  • Equipment and Services: Full array of state-of-the-art diagnostic CT, US, IR/Cath labs, ORs and interventional suites. Practice currently uses Greenway Intergy EMR and hospital is on Paragon (McKesson). Also available: Wound and Hyperbaric program, collaborative cardiology and IR environment, ID, Hospitalists and Intensivists. Hybrid OR in early stages of development for FY 2019 and will be added to the new hospital facility
