UP Health System -- Marquette is now accepting qualified Pain/ Health Psychologist and Neuropsychology candidates to join their strong, cohesive practice which is co-located in our Neuroscience Center. Candidates may include those currently practicing or soon to be graduates with Michigan license or eligibility
Opportunity Requirements:
- Doctoral degree & APA accredited internship required
- Postdoctoral behavioral medicine training & experience in similar positions a plus

- Expectations:
- Assessing and treating chronic pain, chronically ill, and oncology patients in a team format
- Integrating evidence-based psychotherapy in both the outpatient clinical and inpatient hospital settings
- Psychological evaluation of surgical candidates
- 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient mix, target patient load 5-6 patients per day with 60-minute appointments
- Current Practice Structure: Candidates would be joining a positive, interdisciplinary team of 3 co-located in our Neuroscience Center with Neurology, Neurosurgery & Neuropsychology. Experienced Psychometric technicians available
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, occasional ICU consults
- Location: Clinic is located within new Medical Office Building attached to the new 2019 Hospital Main Campus
- Equipment and Services: Current EMR is Practice Partner and in hospital is McKesson Paragon, award winning Telemedicine
- Upper Michigan Brain Tumor Center is a collaboration between Northern Michigan University and UPHS -- Marquette, which is conducting primary research on the formation of brain tumors
- Teaching affiliation with Michigan State University; Medical Students and Family Medicine Residents
